Why there is no password-based "account checker"
Competitors list a row of account checkers. The UID kind queries a public endpoint and needs no password — we built that one too. The kind that asks you to paste a password works by logging in as you; the moment you hand it over, the other party holds the entire account and you cannot verify whether it was kept.
And even the password-free UID check only proves that a UID has a public photo. The only reliable way to know an account is usable is to log in yourself — thirty minutes following the acceptance SOP beats any checker.
